The bank reconciliation function is responsible for the day-to-day bank reconciliation operational tasks following the applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements and guidelines, and internal policies and procedures.

Principal duties & responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliation and investigation on outstanding unreconciled items.
• Follow-up with banks and internal departments on outstanding unreconciled items.
• Monitor all outstanding unreconciled items and ensure timely resolution and closure of the outstanding unreconciled items.
• Clearing and matching of outstanding unreconciled items by referring to the relevant supporting documents.
• Assist the Bank Reconciliation Team with any ad hoc & administrative tasks.
