Job Description

Risk management provides practical direction on how the business can be safeguarded from excessive operational, financial and reputational risk whilst enabling delivery on its business strategy. It enhances the capabilities to align risk appetite and strategy, link risk with growth and return, make timely risk response decisions, minimize operational surprises and losses, seize opportunities and rationalize capital.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operational Risk team in risk identification, risk assessments, risk monitoring and risk reporting duties.
• Provide support as required in managing the Risk Coordinators sitting within the first line business units
• Compiling of the key risk indicators and preparation of onward reporting
• Assist in coordinating information, providing challenge and following up with the Risk Coordinators on Incident Reporting requirements and overall Incident Management
• Assist in liaising with the Risk Coordinators and other stakeholders on various activities
• Assist the Risk Management team in compiling key risk reports for senior management
• Assist to conduct and coordinate risk governance training/risk awareness programs across the Company
• Monitor the development, monitoring and maintenance of Department Risk Register (DRR) and Key Risk Register (KRR)
• Assist with task automation activities to streamline internal processes
• Assist the Head of Operational Risk team as required on ad hoc tasks and requests
