Your Role

As a Continuous Improvement Intern at Collins, you'll join their CORE team to play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational efficiency. You'll assist in identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements across various departments, using continuous improvement methodologies to drive effectiveness. This hands-on role offers valuable experience in process optimization and contributes to impactful projects that enhance their operations and deliver value to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Assist in the evaluation of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct data analysis to support process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and document new processes and workflows.

Project Support

  • Support CORE projects from inception through implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights.
  • Track project progress and report on key performance indicators.

Data Collection and Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and measure the impact of improvement efforts.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities and results.

Training and Development

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for CORE initiatives.
  • Support workshops and training sessions to educate employees on CORE tools and techniques.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
