Your role

Shell Aviation Malaysia (Penang-based) is seeking motivated individuals to join their Internship Program in 2024. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts and gain hands-on experience in the areas below:

  • Assist HSSE, Operation, and Technical teams in operational activities
  • Assist with daily tasks for Operation (no more than 25% clerical work) such as duty roaster, order Jet A1, daily stock management & tracking and aircraft refueling coordination
  • Participate and learn in the Shell Aviation ACE training program and work in different disciplines including HSSE, Operation, and Technical.
  • Support Site Manager in strategic planning, and business development such as CAPEX projects and performance evaluation.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and prepare for higher-level Operation requirements
  • Assisting with recording, editing, and producing video for the Shell Aviation ACE training program.

About you

Shell is looking for students who meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Any other degree also will be considered if a candidate with video editing skills
  • Must be available to work 5 days a week, Mon – Fri from 8 am – 5 pm / 9 am – 6 pm
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be proficient with Clipchamp (Microsoft) or any other video editing software
  • Must be available to work in Shell Aviation Penang
  • A keen interest in the Aviation industry
