Your role

About the team:

The People team plays a crucial organizational role in Shopee by channeling important resources to key functions in the company. People are key to Shopee’s growth, and as the business expands, so does the need to develop and support the employees.

Job description:

• Be part of the team to plan and organize university engagement events, including workshops, career fairs, business cases, and in-house days
• Assist in planning and implementing employer branding activities via social media, collaboration with university partners and other relevant partners
• Support the recruitment cycle for Shopee’s student program hiring, which includes sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Track and monitor the effectiveness of the employer branding and recruitment activities and make recommendations for improvement

About you

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any major field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites and Google Suites is highly preferred
• Passionate about people, services, and culture
• Have a strong affinity for hands-on execution, problem-solving, and result-orientation
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication competency in English and can liaise with stakeholders
• Able to commit a minimum of 3-months full-time internship
