Your role

About the team

Shopee's Marketing teams conceptualize and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships, and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement. The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users. The local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localize and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market. 

Job description

  • Lead the key influencer marketing campaigns while ensuring adherence to budget and established KPIs.
  • My primary responsibility is to drive brand awareness and increase users’ engagement and conversation for different brands available on Shopee through influencer campaigns.  
  • Responsible for identifying and acquiring new influencers to expand Shopee’s influencer initiatives.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multiple teams (Business Development, Social Media, Design, and Finance) to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects.
  • Support marketing branding initiatives aimed at increasing market visibility and cultivating a thriving influencer community.

About you

To apply for this role at Shopee Malaysia, you are required to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field, with a preference for a degree in Marketing.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management is desirable, but fresh graduates with a strong interest in influencer marketing are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with the local KOL ecosystem is a must.
  • Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in the Chinese language is a plus.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce or related fields is advantageous.
  • Highly meticulous and performance-oriented, with a strong commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability, coupled with a passion for collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a positive and adaptable mindset.
