Collaborate with the purchasing team to identify potential suppliers and conduct product sourcing to meet the company's requirements.
Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and favorable agreements.
Assist in coordinating stock replenishment activities, including requesting quotes, issuing purchase orders (POs), and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Verify and match invoices with purchase orders to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
Aid in processing requisitions for routine and ad hoc supplies, ensuring that the required items are acquired promptly to meet operational needs.
Assist in accurately updating incoming and outgoing stocks into the inventory system to maintain an up-to-date and organized record of inventory levels.
Keep the supervisor and Head of Department informed about the progress of assigned tasks, providing regular updates on procurement activities.
Be proactive in attending to ad-hoc requests related to purchasing and inventory tasks, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
