Responsibilities 

  • Be in charge of daily routine operations to ensure all Marketing and Reservation functions are carried out smoothly, effectively and efficiently.
  • Be aware of a critical issue at each residence which relate to Marketing and Reservation matter and provide guidance and support to resolve the matter.

Specific Duties 

  • Marketing
    • attend to email, walk-in enquiries, WhatsApp enquiries and in-coming phone calls.
    • prepare statistical reports as and when required.
    • participate in Marketing activities/events (such as Open Days over weekends / Public Holidays) for the Residences.
    • maintain stock levels of Marketing collaterals.
    • ensure the accuracy of information displayed in all printed materials and digital platforms.
    • assist to organize Residence tours for all stakeholders.
    • contribute in periodical Market Research study.
    • maintain, file and retrieve files/records, reports and other office documents.
  • Reservation
    • coordinate room reservations for short-term & long-term stay customers in accordance with company policy.
    • constantly review and improvise the usage of Hostel Management System.
    • liaise with faculties and other departments on issues related to resident’s welfare and financials.
    • liaise with internal and external customers on issues regarding capacity management.
    • handle Residence and Room Transfer requests.
    • initiate and follow up on service requests from start to end.
    • ensure availability during scheduled off working hours (for business requirements).

Requirements 

  • Tertiary qualification supported by experience of working in a multicultural environment. Relevant working experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak seasons, independently and as a team player.
  • Good communication and people skill with high proficiency in English language will be preferred.
  • Flexibility to on weekends/public holidays to support Open Days / Info Days by the campus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuously improve customer service and service delivery. 
  • A cheerful personality with a passion to always meeting with new people is highly preferred.
