Job responsibilities

  • To be responsible for controlling, monitoring & maintaining calibration & verification of measuring equipment.
  • To be responsible for verifying the preparation of the Calibration Master List & Schedule for both internal & external calibrations.
  • To be responsible for checking & monitoring all data recorded for reference.
  • To be responsible for verifying reports for any new / serviced/repaired/calibrated measuring equipment submitted by the calibration supervisor or calibration assistant.
  • To be responsible for submitting the report to the Head of Factory for new/spoilt / lost missing equipment on monthly basis.
  • To be responsible for monitoring internal & external calibration & verification due date.
  • To be responsible for preparing calibration reports for all measuring equipment, printing out, and making the proper filing.
  • To be responsible for evaluating calibration certificates provided by an external accredited laboratory.
  • To participate in customer or regulatory audits at the factory for calibration parts.
  • Conduct inter-factory spot checks monthly and submit the declaration of Non-Conformance Findings.
  • To be responsible for embarking on continuous improvement projects related to the ECU team.
  • Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate Superior.
  • The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/instruction.

Job requirements

  • Diploma in a related field or equivalent from reputable universities (pointer 3.00 and above)
  • Would be an added advantage to have worked in ISO 9001 environment.
  • Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
  • Results-oriented, strong follow-up, and good negotiation skills.
  • Pleasant personality and ability to interact with all levels of people.
