Your role

As a Researcher of Manufacturing (IETS) at Top Glove, you will:

  • Establish, implement and maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. 
  • Conduct and coordinate various types of environmental audits as Team Leader, monitor the status of company compliance, prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to items of corrective action where appropriate.
  • Lead the team as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained with clients and within the team.
  • Monitor and provide accurate and prompt information to support clients, working closely with them to ensure that clients’ records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.
  • Carry out effective ISO 14001 and other environmental-related training/briefings to improve knowledge and compliance of company employees on ISO 14001, environmental requirements, and company procedures. 
  • Plan/schedule workloads to make the best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity.
  • Have water/industrial effluent treatment working experience will be an advantage.

About you

To apply for this role, you are required to:

  • Possess at least a Degree, preferably in Environmental, Sustainability or Sciences.
  • Professional education or training to an equivalent level of tertiary education level in Environmental/Social/Safety/Legal or similar field preferred with proven experience.
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Proven knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of management system standards (i.e. ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO37106, etc.).
  • Certified lead auditor for ISO 14001:2015
  • Attended Malaysian Environmental Laws Interpretation, Aspect Impact Determination or any other ISO 14001 training will be an advantage. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills, as well as energy, passion, and commitment. 
  • Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
  • Results-oriented, strong follow-up, and good negotiation skills.
  • Pleasant personality and ability to interact with all levels of people.
  • Effective communication and integrity.
