In Malaysia, Under Armour operates several stores, including their largest retail concept store which spans 5,300 sq ft, located in Suria KLCC.

Your role

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the digital marketing operations, strategies, and projects of the marketing team, and management of Malaysia social media channels. You will have the opportunity to embark on a 360° learning journey and become a part of the Marketing team.

Under Armour will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time 6-month internship.

Your Impact

• Digital Marketing
  • Asset coordination and management.
  • Content planning and management.
  • Support media planning.
  • Work cross-functionally and across markets to bring campaigns to life.
    • Handle seeding products for athletes, ambassadors, media and KOLs.
    • Put together campaign recaps (regional and local).
• Data & Reporting Support
  • Social listening reporting.
  • Media and content performance reporting.
  • Post-event coverage reporting.
• Marketing & Event Support
  • Event support, including real-time content capture and other duties.
  • Work cross-functionally and across markets to bring campaigns to life.
    • Liaise with suppliers and organize products.
    • Manage collateral productions.
    • Support on event day: admin and logistics.
    • Event support, including real-time content capture and other duties.
• Partnerships
  • Liaise with partners like gyms, sports associations, and sponsorship partners.
• Administrative Support
  • Delivery of seeding products.
  • Arrangement of seeding products upon arrival in the office.

Training & development

By the end of the internship, you will gain/know:

• Exposure to the foundation of Marketing.
• Ability to understand and gain hands-on experience to support the marketing online and offline campaign.
• How to communicate across a diverse organization with many different cultures, geographies, and preferences.

About you

Under Armour is looking for candidates who can meet the requirements below:

• Has a strong interest in Marketing & Sports/Fitness.
• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
• A keen learner who is creative & detail-oriented, resourceful & driven.
• Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency.
• Able to work with a team/independently where needed.
• Willing to listen, include, and respect the beliefs of teammates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
