Your role

This is an exciting opportunity to support Unilever’s growth engine into the future! They are looking for a driven, proactive, creative, and organized person who will be responsible for the activation of their brand strategy in Malaysia across consumer-facing channels.

You will be part of the global and local marketing team working across a range of varied and exciting brand projects, from their Big Bang national advertising campaigns to building a standout brand experience across direct-to-consumer channels.

  • Team Structure:
    • Reporting to: Marketing/Brand Manager
  • Key responsibilities:
    • To support brand communications and activation - such as innovation, advertising, and promotion.   
    • Analyze market, category, and competitive information to assess brand performance.
    • Analyze consumer trends to enhance brand equity and marketplace performance.
    • Work collaboratively with sales, trade marketing, operations, finance, and agencies on a day-to-day basis.
  • Key Stakeholders:
    • Internal
      • Global Brand custodians
      • Local and Global Cross-functional teams - Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Development
      • Local marketing expert team (Market Research, Digital, etc)
    • External
      • Customers, Creative and Media agencies

About you

To join this internship program, you need to have the qualifications below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field with a relevant major in Business, Mass Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related
  • Work knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications and others such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator/In-Design.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Able to commit for at least 6 months.
  • Early graduates who are looking for internship experiences.
