Your role

If you are joined to Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme at UOB Malaysia, you will do the following activities:

• Participate ini FSTEP is a 3+9-month intensive graduate training programme, in collaboration with Asians Banking School, designed to equip talent with the right skills and knowledge for their transition into the financial services industry.
• Join the intake which will be started in April. 

Training & developments

In this program, you will get various training and developments, including: 

• During the first three months of the programme, trainees will join classroom training with Asian Banking School. 
• For the remaining nine months, trainees will be attached at respective departments.
• During the training, you will learn about:
  • Compliance.
  • Commercial Banking.
  • Human Resources.
  • Technology & Operations.
  • Finance.
  • Channels & Digitalisation.
  • Retail Banking (Personal Financial Services).
  • Private Banking.
  • Internal Audit.
  • Global Markets.
  • Wholesale Banking.

Career progression

The career progression for this program is fairly good with the opportunity to be absorbed as a permanent employee after the programme ends.  In line with their long-term career development programme, UOB Malaysia aims to recruit and develop a team of trainees who will be groomed in the Bank.
