Junior Financial Workflow Developer null

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for Junior Workflow Developer with strong interest in the Finance/Banking industry. You will be embedded with our clients’ team and working on various projects in the Capital Market, Trading System, Business expertise and support. Possible project assignments: Back-Office Workflow Development. Additionally, you are not limited to: 

•  Be responsible for the quality of each deliverable is off the highest standard. 
•  Work closely with the other development teams to ensure the end-to-end solution meets the business requirements. 
•  Database design 
•  Be able to work with minimum supervision. 
•  Write and maintain appropriate documentation to describe application development, logic, utilize coding library and repository tools for revisions. 
•  Participate in the testing process through code review and functional testing. 
•  Be aware of security implications when implementing solutions. 
•  Ensure standards are adhered to during development cycles. 
•  Identify performance improvements in existing functionality and recommend enhancements. 

WHAT KIND OF INDIVIDUALS ARE WE SEEKING? 

• Master or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Sciences or Financial Engineering 
• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate), Python, C and Excel VBA 
• Experience with XML, XSLT, Unix Shell Scripting is a strong plus. 
• Knowledge of SQL (select, join, union, group by, etc 
• Knowledge of Data Dictionaries, Templates, Workflows 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. 
• Keen interest in financial markets. Working knowledge of financial products is a plus. 
• Strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•  Fluent in English and Mandarin communication
