Your role

As a Technician 2, Die Attach Technician at Western Digital Malaysia, below are your essential duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure production machine performance is well maintained.
• Assist process/equipment engineers to carry out or set up new device evaluation/engineering runs when needed.
• Practice 6’s every time after maintenance/repairing /conversion
• Ensure all activities perform to the environmental procedures.
• Ensure that all waste/chemicals are properly stored/labeled and scrapped.   
• Maintain and perform troubleshooting on assigned operations.
• Highlight to superiors any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environment policy.
• Handshake Passover/communication book and daily machine status report.
• Follow all environmental procedures in carrying out daily activities
• Highlight to the supervisor any activities in the company that may be contrary to environmental policy.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

About you

To apply for this role, you must hold the required qualifications below:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic and Mechatronics Engineering 
• Minimum with 2 years of experience in manufacturing

Your application will be preferred if you:

• Familiar with Die Attach machine and Plasma machine.
• Must be able to work in a 12-hour shift
• Familiarity with computer systems & computer network
• Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Able to work independently
• Have a good interpersonal skill
• Able to Multitask
