Your role

This role will study and learn the role of an Accounts Executive in a fast paced, high volume environment where you will gain responsibility for invoice processing, collections process and participate in ongoing project. This role is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Performing monthly 3PL reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies identified 
• Working together with other business stakeholders to resolve issues involving invoices capturing and ensuring approvals and adherence to policies and processes 
• Supporting collection process for any overdue customer invoices 
• Supporting Senior and Manager in gathering relevant information for audit and other ad-hoc duties
• To support WHT, SST & GST document preparation.

Training & development

ZALORA designs training, seminars, and sharing sessions to support students' personal and team development. In this role, you will be involved in finance operational tasks for the ZALORA Cluster within the commercial sector. This is a dynamic role within a rapidly growing company where you will work closely with Account Executives and benefit from broad regional and cross-functional exposure.

About you

To apply for this internship, you have to meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Commerce or working towards Professional Accounting Qualification such as ACCA, MICPA or CIMA. 
• Good knowledge and understanding of Finance processes and accounting entry. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of excel 
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work 
• Pro-active and good team player 
• Ability to complete a variety of related tasks 
• Mature and able to work independently
• Able to commit for 6 months
