Your role

ZALORA is looking for a Procure to Pay Intern to support invoice processing for ZALORA Cluster. This role will study and learn the role of an Accounts Executive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you will gain responsibility for invoice verification, invoice processing, and dispute resolutions with suppliers. This role is based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Processing vendor invoices and credit note timely, accurately, and completely in line with established SLA 
• Working together with other business stakeholders to resolve issues involving invoices capturing and ensuring approvals and adherence to policies and processes
• Obtaining approval for variation in invoice processing in line with Company policies and procedures
• Retaining invoices and/or relevant correspondence necessary for statutory record-keeping
• Responding and following up on vendor inquiries regarding the invoice submitted or payment queries.
• Reviewing payment block to ensure invoices are released for processing upon due
• Performing monthly supplier reconciliation and follow-up on discrepancies identified
• Performing weekly bank reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Participate and contribute to process improvement projects
• Supporting Senior and Manager in gathering relevant information for audit and other ad-hoc duties

Intern Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
• Pro-active and good team player
• Mature and able to work independently
• An accountancy background is preferred
• Good to have, but not compulsory to commit to 6 months of the internship duration.
