Your role

The Revenue Office at Zalora optimizes the revenue/conversion funnel, using product, customer, and tech platforms as constraints. The Revenue Analytics team establishes analytical structures and applies advanced analytics to drive growth. Interns can expect challenging work, rapid learning, and exposure to various teams and projects.

The team is highly ambitious with numerous projects planned, from search algorithm improvements to pricing elasticity modeling. They drive strategic discussions, set actionable targets, and ensure forecast model accuracy.

As part of the team, your primary focus will extend beyond pulling the data and crunching the numbers. You will: 

• Tackle complex business problems by converting raw data into actionable insights
• Identify KPIs and develop dashboards to monitor them
• Understand key business metrics and actively monitor them
• Identify any risks and opportunities and work closely with the Merchandising and Pricing team to tackle them
• Conduct analysis of problem areas to improve the company's top line and margins
• Contribute to project initiations by flagging potential issues or enhancement opportunities
• Challenge the status quo with new ideas to achieve business objectives
• Learn steeply, and hopefully not only at the beginning

About you
