Your role

This role supports handling the tasks in the Tax Compliance team, learning different types of Tax or Financial reporting work, and internal and external report submissions.

As an Intern at BAT, you will be accountable for:

• Build, update, and modify files pertaining to Withholding Tax / Sales and Services Tax
• Explore and learn how to extract information from ERP software, analysis, and third-party software used for different projects
• Development of new skills in engaging with own team and other stakeholders

About you

Essential experience, skills, and knowledge required are:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance or similar qualifications (e.g. ACCA / CPA)
• Good command of English spoken and written
• Basic computer programming understanding – MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Good verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Works well to tight deadlines
• Pragmatic/lateral approach to finding solutions
• Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to work in team
• Proactive and able to work under own initiative
