Controls System Engineer null

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility to investigate, define and implement tooling and automation used in the Semiconductor Fab.
• Develop automation for Semiconductor equipment, and hardware/software tools and processes, support and maintain existing systems & applications.
• Participate in projects and teams effectively across departments and organizations, to develop, implement and consult on factory systems solutions.
• Maintain expertise and practical knowledge of HP systems needs as they evolve.
• Utilize analytical skills to develop software/hardware system specifications and customer requirements, helping translate to appropriate solution(s).
• System debugging and troubleshooting, hardware qualification and testing, design characterization and release to production.
• Participate with worldwide partners and vendors to ensure good communication & documentation for all aspects of the design.
• Occasional travel and participation to support the production operations be required.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent degree
• Software development and debugging skills
• Ability to solve technical problems in a fast-paced product development environment
• Ability to work & interact effectively with team members & individuals from other disciplines, projects, organizations, divisions, & companies
• Knowledge and use of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, from conception, through obsolescence.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork/interpersonal, communication and analytical/technical skills
• Two or more years writing software experience
• Knowledge of JAVA, JAVA Swing, C#, Web application development
• Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of semiconductor fab and discrete-assembly manufacturing
• Automated tool programming and real-time control
• Machine vision systems, IOT experience and Database experience
• Understanding of message bus functionality
• Data mining
• SEMI standards GEM, SECS2
• PC hardware and software, in support of tool and test equipment development
