Your role
In this new role, you will:
Shift UPE
- Perform process engineering and production support in one assigned area of the semiconductor process
- Work as a team between Manufacturing / Mnt / UPE / LBS / Technology / Quality to resolve production and quality issues and reduce production line interruption
- Ensure the robustness of processes with Advance Process Control (APC), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other process control tools.
- Supervise Associate Engineer (AE) and Senior Operation Specialist (SOS) on daily task
- Follow & ensure shift people (AE & SOS) to follow process & operation specifications as well as Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP)
- Initiate, coordinate, and support excursion prevention, cost reduction, and quality improvement projects
- Support Line sustaining, required to work inside FAB.
- Need to work on a 12-hour shift, or as requested, to support production line
- Support Group (Inline Analytics)
- To operate all Analytical Tools, Fab Cockpit, TXRF, APC, SPC, and Yield Manager at trace-level analysis
- To support routine analysis on semiconductor samples (e.g. lots/wafers, chemicals, clean room environment)
About you
You are best equipped for this task if you have the qualifications below:
- Degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and other related areas).
- Must be at least CGPA 3.0 and above.
- Contract for 12 months.
- Approximately 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, but no prior job experience is generally required.
- Good understanding of principles and concepts in own technical area based on extensive training.
- Able to supervise/plan daily tasks for a group of AE/SOS in the line
- Ability to provide on-the-job training to more junior colleagues to be developed.
