Your role

In this new role, you will:

• Perform process engineering and production support in one selected assigned area of the semiconductor process (Silicon Epitaxy)
• Work as a team between Manufacturing / MNT / UPE / LBS / Technology / Quality to resolve production and quality issues and reduce production line disruptions.
• Support tool installations as well as process & technology transfers to meet company targets, following standard process & tool release business flow.
• Perform FMEA, risk assessment of process changes, with proper process change management.
• Ensure the robustness of processes with Advance Process Control (APC), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other process control tools.
• Manage recipe and procedural control. Develop and maintain process & operation specifications as well as Out of Control Action Plan (OCAP)
• Initiate, coordinate, and support excursion prevention, cost reduction, and quality improvement projects

About you

You are best equipped for this task if you have the qualifications below:

• An undergraduate with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or any equivalent Science field.
• Demonstrable ability related to math and engineering principles.
• Excellent data analytical and engineering problem-solving
• Knowledge of thermodynamics/statistics is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, Self-motivated, and good team player.
• Innovative and can work independently to drive technical projects.
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
