Purpose:

This position is to support and L&D team and work across with the overall HR team plus business partner with other functions in multiple projects. Reporting into the L&D Manager, the L& D Executive will have responsibility for end-to-end training activity for the core employees. The aspect of training will cover inductions, commercial training, soft skills, management development and some technical skills which requires cross functional work. Administrative task such as data entry in L&D system, Learning Management System (U+), HRDF and coordinating with various stakeholders will be among the required responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Total Company Learning Plan

  • To support in identification of development solutions within the defined L&D strategy.
  • Implement, evaluate and review learning & development framework that meet the strategic objectives of the business
  • Assist in the delivery of group programs as well as local programs including evaluating the effectiveness of the programs
  • Support and coach Line Managers/ Supervisors and their subordinates to identify learning and development needs, plan and register them for programs to address the gaps
  • Supports in driving creation and delivery of learning solutions that support the stakeholders’ prioritie

Organizational Development (OD)

  • Support in administering the Performance & Development Assessment process
  • Support in developing and implementing strategic OD initiatives which will ultimately assist business efficiency and capacity as well as influencing and shaping the organization’s culture.
  • Support in working with others in strategic development plans aligned with business priorities for business segment managers.
  • Adopt a collaborative approach, to develop and promote contemporary OD programs across the company and form a network of internal “Champions” to be change agents.

Talent Management

  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to assess the organization design, team effectiveness and leadership development needs through formal and informal needs assessments and gap analyses
  • Participate in the collaborative development, design and implementation of talent management initiatives

Performance Management

  • Support in development, mentoring and coaching, team development/team building, performance management, reward and recognition and change management

Learning Management System (U+) custodian

  • Responsible and take ownership to update and maintain U+

Program Delivery

  • Develop and manage relationships with external providers and strategic partners (internal and external) to ensure high quality and effective delivery of services
  • Support in developing and implementing some standard training programs as well as delivering corporate program
  • Builds relationships with business segment managers as a valued partner to identify priorities and takes ownership for the whole learning experience.

Administration

  • Administering training program run and update training activities in Rentokil Initial Malaysia.
  • Manage HRDF, workshop/training coordination with Admin team, caterers and external vendors.
  • Perform other duties as requested by L&D Manager and/or Director of Human Resources.

Reporting and Contact:

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma with 3 years proven track record in L&D environment
  • Able to do presentation in public and loves working with people
  • Technology savvy with good working knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Willing to travel to various branches in Malaysia
  • Good spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Humble, able to work and support with Frontliner colleagues at the field
  • Enjoy reading, has good sharing spirit and a keen learner
  • Is resourceful and quick to grasp knowledge
  • Must be able to work in team in a fast paced business environment
